Eight-year-old Cole Sear insists he sees dead people, but no one takes him seriously until psychologist Malcolm Crowe (Bruce Willis) begins treating him. As Crowe investigates Cole's claims, he uncovers disturbing evidence that the boy's supernatural ability is genuine.
