Zach befriends Hannah, daughter of reclusive author R.L. Stine, after moving to a small town. When Zach accidentally frees monsters from Stine's manuscripts, the trio races to capture them before the creatures destroy their town. A mix of humor and scares, the film blends adventure and comedy well.
